Dream it, Believe it, Create it
A wise friend on twitter once told me...
Thursday, March 31

that it is better to be hated for what you are than liked for what you're not

I really like that quote. It pretty much means don't try to be fake just to get attention. Be who you are and if society can't accept that than so be it. Why pretend to be fake? Isn't it tiring?
It's like telling a lie. You always have to cover up your previous lie with another one and sooner or later the truth will come out. It WILL come out. So why not be honest and tell the truth now and be hated less than later when the pain will hurt more and the hate is stronger?

Hypocrite Alert!
Tuesday, March 15

Whenever someone is feeling down and they come to me for comfort or advice, I usually tell them something that they should do or just like a word of advice. For example, don't bottle things up or something like that. But then there's a big catch. Usually, or should I say always, I am a hypocrite. I tell someone something to help them but I don't listen to myself. It's easier to help someone then to help yourself. Saying things like 'don't bottle things up' or 'telling a friend about something will make you feel better' is something that I think is true. It does make you feel better after doing those things but for me, I say these things and believing it but never do it. I don't know why. So half the time while I'm saying these things I question myself whether if it's really true. There's always that sense of doubt in me - do I believe the things coming out of my mouth or am I just the world's best liar?

Engineers make it happen
Friday, March 11

Today I attended an engineering class like thing at Prairiewood High School. It was a really great experience. We had third year students from UNSW talking to us about the course they're doing and how engineering is fun and a great career. We also had people who are engineers to talk to us and some hands on activities which my group failed at. These hand on activities were creating a catapult and making a paper airplane. Both in which the winner is determined by how far the marshmallow or plane travelled in a straight line without going outside of the mat.

Morning tea and lunch was really nice as well. The event was sponsored by subway so for morning tea we had a subway cookie with a choice of either a bottle of water or a juice bottle. For lunch we had the choice of choosing a 6 inch sub with either turkey, ham or salami. Again we got to choose what drink we wanted.

A lot of schools attended this event but hurlstone had the most attendance. I think bonnyrigg high school only had 5 or so people go whereas hurlstone had like 20-30. LOL.

So again it was a really great experience. I got to learn more about engineering and the different types of engineering, as well as getting myself a free pen. Hehe!

But no, seriously it was amazing. I would go to it again if I had the chance to.

Playboy

A playboy knows how to make you happy. A playboy knows how to understand you. A playboy knows how to pick you up from the ground and put you back together when you are in pieces. A playboy knows his limits. A playboy knows how to make you laugh. A playboy knows how to have a good time.

But the only thing a playboy doesn't know is how to keep a woman.
