Korean dramas. I love you. I don't know what i'd do without you. But please, stop being so obvious! Obvious in a way that i can predict what will happen next and get it correct. Let's compromise. You stop being so obvious and i, along with everyone else who watches you, will continue to enjoy watching you. It's a win win situation. So how bout it ? :D

Yeah, i've been watching a new korean drama lately. It's called SungKyunKwan Scandal. If i had to describe it, i'd say that it resembles hana kimi. Like it's about a girl who disguises as her brother so she can earn money to pay her brother's medical bills. She disguises as her brother because she is extremely talented in literature and, since it's set in the olden times, women weren't allowed to study. She eventually gets accepted into the prestigous SunKyunKwan school and all this things start to happen. This drama has micky from dbsk in it as well, just a heads up for all those dbsk fans. 

So i'm going to spoil it a little bit just to get my thoughts clear. It's not really spoiling since it's so obvious that you can just predict what will happen. But why is it that it's always the protective and caring one that is the first one to know that the 'boy' is actually a girl? I've only watched up to episode 7 and i know, for sure, that the protective and caring guy will look over the girl, help her keep her secret and his heart will eventually be broken.

I don't know why but i always go for the second lead man in a drama. Maybe it's because all dramas follow the 'obvious' plot i was talking about and  the second lead man is always the 'i want a guy like him in my life to protect me' type of guy. Believe it or not i tend to think that the second lead man is usually cuter/hotter than the main guy in a drama. Go ahead, stand up and scream out the word objection. But just know that your argument is invalid because you're messing with ME on MY blog. That is all i have to say.

Today i went swimming with anita and michelle at pairewood. I haven't been there in ageeeeeeees. Ages meaning 3 years? Give or take 1 year. I admit that today wasn't the best day to go swimming. The indoor pool was packed with little kids doing lessons and old men swimming in the lap lane. FYI, there was only 1 lap lane compared to the 2 lap lane (fast/slow) it use to have. The outdoor pool was also filled with kids doing squad and people doing laps. We didn't practice diving like we were suppose to but at least we learnt the 'proper' way of sculling forward. LOL !

Overall, it was a pretty fun day. Thankyou for coming today anita and michelle. We shall do this again next time. Hopefully other people who weren't able to come today, not to mention any names ANGELA and CHRISTINA, will be able to come next time.

For those of you who are still concerned about selina, here's the latest gossip from the chinese news:- 

-> During the incident, selina was wearing those traditional chinese dresses (like those red dresses that chinese bride wears at the wedding) and stockings. The stockings were high flammable and thus selina's legs are badly burnt.
-> Approximately 50% of her body was burnt
-> They are now looking for dead corpse's skin to use to repair selina's badly brunt skin. I'm not sure what that actually means but that's what the news sad.


For yu haoming, the news hasn't been saying anything about him. I know most people are more concerned about selina because she's more popular and important but yu haoming is just as important. Hopefully the news will soon release some details of yu haoming's injuries.

Today, i'm going to blog about two things. One, being something that i am extremely annoyed about and two, something that really shocked me and is still shocking me.

NUMBER ONE
My road was a nice, smooth and wide road. It was a really nice road. Plenty of room to walk around and easy to drive on for drivers. BUT everything changed when the COUNCIL decided to make TWO HUMPS on the road. WHAT !? Why do this ? You've completely ruined a nice and perfect road. Yes, there may be some safety issues with people driving too fast, but hey, how many car crashes have u seen in the past few years on my street? From my perspectives, NONE ! Why does it have to be on OUR road and not some other road ? There are prob other roads that have had many accidents but NOT MINE ! GRRRRRR ! Stupid council, wasting your money on such stupid things. From now on i will have to endure the feeling of driving over two humps in order to get to the end of my street. Thanks for nothing council ! 

NUMBER TWO
This is a really big news. It's nothing personal or anything, it's just about some taiwanese singers/actors. Everyone knows S.H.E right ? (If you are chinese you should know them because they have been a very successful band that has lasted around 10 years) If you know S.H.E then you must know selina yeah ? Well, a few weeks back, my mum was telling me how she was engaged to a lawyer and how their wedding is to be held next year. FYI, this is not the 'shocking news'.
Today, when i came home my sister and mum were discussing about an accident selina was in whilst filming in china. Her and the main guy character (yu haoming) were victims of a very serious 'accident'. There was a scene in the movie/drama were both the main characters were suppose to run outside and whilst they are half way of running, the bomb would go off and destroy the house. Some things wentt wrong and the bomb went off before they were able to run outside. We are talking about 5 bombs here. 2 upstairs and 3 downstairs. Both of them received 3rd degree burn and was immediately sent to the nearest hospital. 
From what i've been reading in these fan sites, the guy received 3rd degree burns to 35% of his body and selina had 3rd degree burns to her limbs and other places. Also, a clip on youtube said that after the bomb went off, both of them were covered in flames. My mum said that on a news report selina's mum made a speech about how she wished she was the one that got the 3rd degree burn and not selina.
I'm still in shock and upset. I know both of these people really well. I kinda grew up listening to S.H.E songs (considering again that they've debuted for 10 years or so already) and yu haoming was the second main character in meteor shower, which i really liked. I can't believe that this is actally happening. Again, i am faced with asking myself the same question, WHY? Why must you do this to these two people? Why must you do this after selina was engaged and ready to get married next year? WHY ?

Fingers cross that both of them will recover quickly and they won't have serious side effects. After all, both of them rely on their face to earn money (as said in chinese). I know that the families of both of them are grieving and are in sadness right now. All i hope for is that all these bad stuff will stop happening and their fate will change to give them some good luck.
